Young Enterprise

Young Enterprise is a business and enterprise experience and a nationally recognised award currently available for Key Stage 5 students.

At Windsor we bring volunteers from business into the classroom to work with teachers and students. This extra curricular activity enables students to work together to run their own real company, as well as gaining valuable experience in entrepreneurship and business knowledge, that is beneficial for their future employment.

Our success over the past few years is evident, winning over 11 awards.

2018 Success

On Wednesday 9th May 2018, Windsor High School and Sixth Form’s Young Enterprise Team attended the Black Country Area Finals with their Social Enterprise ‘HOP’. They had a fantastically successful evening and were awarded prizes for ‘Best Company Report’ and ‘Best Company’.

HOP stands for ‘Helping Others Prosper’.  It is a web based social enterprise which guides young people to professional services that can help them manage mental health and personal conflicts. They beat 18 other companies in the Black Country who started the competition in September 2017 and 9 teams who made it to the area finals.
