Following our best ever A level results last week, we are delighted to report further outstanding academic success at Windsor High School and Sixth Form!
For the fourth year in succession, we will achieve a positive progress score, demonstrating our ability to deliver better than nationally expected levels of learning for all of our students.
We are thrilled to report that our Year 11 cohort achieved our best ever GCSE performance with an amazing 66 grade 9 results, and 62 students achieving at least 3 grades at 9 – 7.
Our top individual performers were Alice Locker who achieved eight grade 9 results, one grade 8 and one grade 7, her sister Charlotte Locker who achieved seven grade 9’s and two grade 8’s, and Eden Chambers who also gained seven grade 9’s and two grade 8’s.
These students are among the top achievers nationally.
71% of our students achieved grades 9 – 4 in English and Maths, whilst 42% achieved the ‘strong pass’ benchmark of 9 – 5 in both subjects.
We have a fantastic set of results this year and wish to congratulate all our students and staff on their impressive success and hard work. We look forward to welcoming them, along with many from other local schools, into our sixth form.
This has yet again been an exceptional year for the school.
