Following our fantastic A level results last week, we are delighted to report further outstanding academic success at Windsor High School and Sixth Form!
For the third year in succession we will achieve a positive progress score, demonstrating our ability to deliver better than nationally expected levels of learning for all of our students.
In the first year of uncertainty with the new GCSE 9 – 1 grades, we are thrilled to report our Year 11 cohort achieved an amazing 48 grade 9 results, with nearly 10% achieving this grade and 60 students achieving at least 3 grades at 9 – 7. Our top individual performer was Callum Whitfield who achieved seven grade 9 results, one grade 8 and one A*. He is one of the top achievers nationally.
69% of our students achieved grades 9 – 4 in English and Maths, whilst 41% achieved the ‘strong pass’ benchmark of 9 – 5 in both subjects.
We have a fantastic set of results this year and wish to congratulate all our students and staff on their impressive success and hard work. We look forward to welcoming them, along with many from other local schools, into our sixth form.
This has yet again been an exceptional year for the school.
