Boccia Team Success – Regional Champions!

Five Year 11 students from Windsor represented The Black Country in the Lord Taveners regional finals on Wednesday 9th March 2016 at the Portway Lifestyle Centre, Oldbury.

After losing a game earlier on in the competition the lads held their nerve and put in a simply brilliant team performance that put them through to the final. The final was very close until the last remaining round when Windsor finished triumphant, and by a large distance.

Each member of the Windsor team was influential at some point during the competition and should be so proud of their achievement. They are now regional Boccia champions and have progressed to the national competition, which takes place in Sheffield.

Well done!

The West Midland champions are: Richard S, James G, Jack E, Alex F and Tommy S from Year 11

Thanks to Mr Plinston, their team manager, Ms Kempson and Mr Leafe.
